Process Blog Post for Oil Painting Grisaille

Oil Painting has definitely proved to be as difficult as anticipated, though the process is not without its moments of satisfaction. There is a delicate balance between thin glazes and a runny wash, and maintaining that balance has been a tedious process. I think starting my first oil-painting endeavor with an exercise in realism will prove beneficial for helping understand light and overall the oil painting process has really trained me to focus more on the subtle nuances in shadows and highlights.
